Reminding us that crime takes no holiday, a knife-wielding masked-man robbed a convenience store just outside of the downtown area Wednesday night.
Police say a man entered the Elias Convenience Store at the corner of Goyeau Street and Dufferin Place around 6 p.m.
He allegedly approached the counter with a knife in his hand and demanded cash before fleeing with a small amount of money.
Investigators say his face was concealed with clothing.
The suspect is described as male, 5'6" to 5'9" tall with a thin build.
He wore a black balaclava, sunglasses and hoodie, grey jogging pants and black and white sneakers.
