A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent.
According to Environment Canada issued the watch ahead of a possible system that will move into the region early Friday afternoon to early evening.
The weather authority says conditions are favourable for the development of a severe thunderstorm, which could produce strong wind gusts.
