It’s a day to invest in other people and pay it forward.
Many Windsor and Essex County residents took part in Random Act of Kindness Day on Friday.
Random Act of Kindness Day cards were circulated around the region. The cards encourage individuals to perform a simple act of kindness for someone; a neighbour, a friend, a co-worker, or someone they don’t even know and hand the card over to that person, inspiring him or her to do the same.
Last year organizers distributed 60,000 cards through various sites.
Participants can share acts of kindness on the Windsor Essex County community Foundation website.
