Windsor police have determined no guns were stolen after a daring break-in at a west end Canadian Tire store.
Police say a man smashed the skylight on the roof to get into the hardware store in the 2600 block of Tecumseh Road West on June 23 at 7:30 a.m.
The complainant had told police that the firearm cabinet was damaged and a number of long guns were missing.
However, after conducting an inventory, the complainant advised that all firearms are accounted for and none are missing. The Target Base Unit continues to investigate.
