Essex County OPP say they are investigating a “threatening” type incident at Belle River High School.
Police say they have identified the people responsible for the threat and continue to investigate.
“We are working closely with school officials to address incidents like these on a case by case basis and follow the evidence where it takes them and lay charges if appropriate,” says Const. Stephanie Moniz.
Principal Larry Ash told AM800 News their first priority is the safety of staff and students. They plan on keeping parents apprised of any further information as they move forward.
The alleged threat was focused on something happening on Friday, May 13, according to AM800.
