A tractor trailer driver has been charged, following a rollover on Highway 401 in Chatham-Kent.
According to Chatham-Kent OPP, the collision occurred just before 3 a.m. Wednesday on Highway 401 near Kent Bridge Road.
Police say the tractor trailer left the roadway when exiting the highway on the Kent Bridge off-ramp. That when investigators say the transport flipped – coming to rest in the ditch.
The driver, 58-year-old Parmjit Singh Dio, of Brampton, is charged with careless driving. No injuries are reported.
The westbound on and off-ramps at Kent Bridge Road will close at 1 p.m. Wednesday to remove the tractor trailer from the roadway.
