Essex OPP says a motorcyclist involved in a collision near Comber has died.
Emergency crews, along with OPP reconstruction teams are currently at the intersection of County Road 46 and Rochester Townline Road.
Police confirm a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck occurred around 11:25 a.m. on Wednesday.
Police say a southbound truck was stopped at a stop sign, when it proceeded into the intersection, colliding with a eastbound motorcycle.
The driver of the motorcycle, a 52-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck was treated in hospital for minor injuries.
Both County Road 46 and Rochester Townline Road were closed for several hours while provincial police conducted their investigation.
