Chatham-Kent police have released the name of the Leamington man who was killed in a crash near Wheatley, Ont.
Kenneth Symons, 47, died after the Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck he was driving hit a ditch at the intersection of Essex Road 8 and Wheatley Road on Sunday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police responded to the incident around 4 a.m. Symons was the only person in the vehicle. Police say he failed to stop at the T-intersection and headed into the ditch on the east side of Wheatley Road.
