Liberals now have their standard bearer to represent Dwight Duncan's former riding of Windsor-Tecumseh, whenever a byelection is called.
Real estate and mortgage broker Jeewen Gill took the win, in front of family, friends and liberal supporters Thursday night.
His sole challenger was Remy Boulbol, after Michael Dubin pulled out of the race.
Gill says he will represent his riding honourably.
