An 18-year-old man has been charged with assault after he allegedly bear maced someone during an argument in east Windsor.

Windsor police say the teen turned himself in to police on Jan. 7.

On Jan. 4 at 2:30 a.m., officers responded to a physical altercation at a business in the 5200 block of Tecumseh Road East, near Buckingham Drive.

Police say an argument between two men escalated when the suspect sprayed bear mace at the other individual, which also affected two bystanders.

Three people were treated for minor physical injuries at the scene.

The 18-year-old has been charged with:

- Assault with a weapon

- Possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace

- Administering a noxious substance (x 4)
