The police act hearing for a Windsor officer has been delayed at least another two weeks.
Dorothy Nesbeth has been charged with deceit and two counts of discreditable conduct.
Officers with the Canada Border Services Agency say they discovered more than 100 cans of beer, wine and two bottles of rum, all of it undeclared at the Ambassador Bridge, back in July 2010.
Nesbeth has been suspended with pay ever since she was charged.
Windsor Sgt. Mike Fontaine testified on Thursday.
Fontaine says a fellow officer, Const. Steve Gawdzyn, told him about the incident after a conversation Gawdzyn had with a border guard.
Fontaine took the matter to his superiors, who then began an investigation.
Gawdzyn will be served with a subpoena to appear before the hearing upon his return from vacation on June 3.
A new hearing date will be set Friday.
