A former Windsor man with a history of internet luring is back in court this week.
Prosecutors argue that 44-year-old Steven Ernest Slade should be listed as a dangerous offender.
Graphic details were reviewed Tuesday in Slade's case, as police testified to what they call his "offside and disturbing" sexual fantasies.
Slade was convicted of internet luring and other offences more than four years ago, but in 2011 - less than three weeks after finishing his two year prison term, police say he was online again in a Toronto library, allegedly trying to lure who he believed was a young teenager.
But in fact, he was chatting with Windsor police detectives. On Feb. 1, 2012, a diaper clad Slade came to Windsor to meet the fictitious teen and was arrested by officers at the Windsor bus station. Detectives gave more details of Slade's diaper fetish in further testimony.
The court also heard from assistant Crown attorney Gary Nokita, asking Windsor police detectives about graphic and disturbing details regarding the online investigation.
Evidence from hard drives and CD Roms will be examined over the course of the week, dating back to 2008.
The hearing is expected to review video evidence and thousands of pages of conversations and sexually explicit photographs.
Slade has been convicted of multiple counts of internet luring, plus distributing child porn, counselling a teen to have sex with a younger person and breach of probation.
The dangerous offender application is expected to take all week.
