A former Windsor and Wallaceburg Catholic priest has been sentenced to four years in a federal prison.
Gabriele DelBianco appeared in a Sarnia court Wednesday for sentencing, after being found guilty on two counts of sexual assault and one count of gross indecency back in February.
DelBianco’s lawyer, Andrew Bradie, says the 57-year-old will serve four years in a federal prison.
The charges stem from four women dating back to the 1980’s.
Originally DelBianco was charged with 18 offences, but was acquitted of charges from two of the women.
