Windsor-resident Robert Shaw left Superior Court on Thursday a free man after being found not guilty of all ten alleged sex offences he was facing from what authorities call were historical incidents.
The former hockey and baseball coach didn’t comment to reporters as he left the courthouse.
The 57 year old was on trial for four charges of sexual assault, four charges of sexual touching and two charges of cross indecency from 1977 to 1989.
The alleged victim claimed the abuses occurred when he was a youth hockey and baseball player while the two were away for tournaments in Toronto, Niagara Falls and Kincardine while another reported incident happened in Windsor.
