Windsor firefighters were battling a second blaze this weekend on Ottawa Street.
A fire at 812 Ottawa St. sent one person to hospital with non-life threatening injuries Sunday afternoon.
It started about 2 p.m. in a two-storey apartment complex.
Ottawa Street was closed while firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze.
Chief fire inspection officer Lee Tome says firefighters were on scene quickly.
“They received multiple calls and the fire investigators that were on the scene from the fire down the street noticed the call and came down to check it out,” he said.
The first fire started at 943 Ottawa St. early Saturday morning.
One firefighters was treated and released from hospital after suffering smoke inhalation.
That fire took about five hours to extinguish.
Both fires are under investigation.
