An 84-year-old man involved in a collision was pronounced dead after being transported to Sydenham District Hospital.
Michael Hogan, the lone occupant of the vehicle, died after a single-vehicle crash at the corner of Chiefs Road South and Altiman Road around 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
Investigators say it is still unclear why the southbound Chevrolet drove off Chiefs Road and struck a culvert.
An OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation team has been called in to assist with the investigation.
Traffic was diverted for several hours.
