Windsor city council has unanimously approved a report on the new $43.9-million city hall.
Ward 3 Councillor Rino Bortolin tells CTV News the budget and timeline for the completion of the new facility is on schedule.
Construction continues on the five-story structure.
The first two floors of the five-storey building of the new city hall will be for public access, including new council chambers, which will all be connected by an atrium at the front of the building.
A new city hall square will also be created.
The actual construction of the city hall will cost just under $32-million, but additional work around the building will push the total cost to nearly $44-million.
The move-in date for the new city hall is scheduled for next May.
