Two brothers escaped a Windsor house fire Sunday morning that caused $175,000 in damages.
One of the brothers escaped through a bedroom window.
Windsor fire prevention officer Dave O'Neil says the fire started in the basement of the home at 2175 Woodlawn Ave. around 7:45 a.m. They were not able to identify a cause.
Five people lived at the home and the parents were away on a camping trip at the time of the fire.
O'Neil says the house is not inhabitable.
