Windsor police is looking for two suspects following a home invasion in the city’s west end.

According to police, officers were dispatched to a home invasion call in the 900 block of Wellington Avenue, Thursday night. Officers say the victim presented himself to police at the door, displaying a cut to the back of his head. He was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

In hospital, police say the victim advised officers he did not wish to cooperate.

Through their investigation, police say two suspects enter the rear of the residence. The suspects then struck the victim with a pistol and placed him in a headlock.

The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash, two PlayStation consoles and an iPad. Police don’t believe this to be a random act.

The first suspect is described as a 20 to 25-year-old black male with a skinny build. He was wearing prescription glasses with large frames, a short black coat, black jeans and a hoodie.

The second suspect is described as a 20 to 25-year-old black male with a stubble moustache with a skinny build. He was last seen wearing a baseball hat, black hoodie and black jeans.
