A home in Remington Park sustained significant damage in an early morning fire.

Windsor firefighters were called to a kitchen fire in a home on Reading Street around 6:00 a.m. Sunday, May 29th, 2016.

All of the residents were able to escape safely. Fire crews extinguished the blaze quickly, although the flames did spread to the attic.

Investigators determined the cause to be unattended cooking. The damage is estimated at 140-thousand dollars.
