Several Windsor families picked up a few tips on fishing on the Detroit River.
The Detroit River Canadian Cleanup, in partnership with Caesars Windsor, hosted a Learn to Fish event on Saturday.
It was a hit with some of the children. Although some were surprised how mush waiting was involved with the sport.
Equipment and bait was free.
The Detroit River Canadian Cleanup also provided information on river cleanup efforts, fish populations and which fish are safe to eat.
