The Town of Essex is on a fact finding mission for off-road vehicles.
Municipal staff are inviting people to come out to a series of meetings so they can learn more about what kind of off-road vehicles are out there, where are they being used and where would people like to take them.
The vehicles, also called ORV’s, are currently not permitted on municipal roadways.
Council was recently informed that there might be opportunities to regulate and restrict their use in urban or rural areas.
The first public meeting about off road vehicles is scheduled for Tuesday Nov. 1, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Essex Centre Sports Complex.
