Windsor police remind to celebrate New Year’s responsibly

The Windsor Police Service is reminding the city to celebrate responsibly as the new year is rung in.

Officers offered up tips, to ensure everyone remains safe. The WPS reminds that driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol is illegal and puts others at risk. Instead, you should plan ahead and have a designated driver or plan to take an Uber, taxi or rideshare service home.

You are also reminded to watch out for others and stop anyone you know from driving impaired.

If you see any drivers you suspect may be impaired, report it to the police immediately.
