Windsor police is offering a vulnerable persons registry to assist officers locate an individual who has wandered away from a place of safety.
The project is in partnership with the local Alzheimer Society giving police quick access to critical information about a registered person.
The registry can provide authorities with such information as an emergency contact - detailed physical description and known routines.
The file will also contain information on special needs.
The registry can be accessed online.
