Windsor police have arrested a 25-year-old man and are searching for another male after the theft of a pickup truck.

Officers saw the reported stolen Dodge Ram truck drive into an apartment building parking lot in the 3100 block of Sandwich Street on Tuesday at about 2:42 p.m.

Police say the vehicle had been stolen overnight from the 3100 block of Lauzon Road and was occupied by two male parties.

Officers approached the men after they got out of the truck and identified themselves. They told the two males they were under arrest and the males fled the scene, according to police.

Officers initially lost sight of both men, but within minutes found and arrested one of them. The area was searched for the second male, but he was not found.

The 25-year-old man has been charged with theft of a motor vehicle and two counts of possession of property obtained by crime.
