Windsor set a weather record Sunday as sunshine and warm air flooded into the Rose City.

The old record was 12.2 degrees, set in 1976, and the thermometer rose above 15 degrees. The normal for this time of year is about three degrees.

Records in other centres also fell Sunday. London hit 13.3 degrees and the old mark was 10.7, set in 1998.

That same year marked Goderich's former record of 8.7 degrees. Sunday's high there reached 11.1 degrees.

Temperatures are set to fall once again in the coming week.
