A small plane flipped and ended up in a cornfield during an attempted landing in Thamesville on Thursday afternoon.
Chatham-Kent police were called to the crash on Knoll Road shortly after 5 p.m.
A 58-year-old Dover Township man was reportedly attempting to land his Cessna 172 plane when he encountered problems with his braking system.
The plane crashed into a cornfield next to the runaway causing the plane to flip.
Neither the driver nor his female passenger were injured.
Damage is estimated at $30,000 and police say no charges will be laid.
