BRANTFORD, Ont. - Provincial police say a small airplane has crashed near Brantford airport, killing one person.
Const. Larry Plummer says the aircraft crashed into a parking lot (beside York Road) just east of the airport, around 11 a.m.
He says no other details are available.
Plummer says a team of investigators from the Transportation Safety Board of Canada is expected at the scene later this afternoon.
