Sanjay Maru joined CTV Windsor in August 2021 after more than three years at CBC Windsor. Maru is a graduate of the St. Clair College MediaPlex and received the school's Windsor Star Converged Journalist of the Year award in 2018. Maru received a regional RTDNA award for Excellence in Editing in 2021 and has worked in radio, TV and web, both locally in Windsor-Essex and nationally.
