A fire caused $175,000 in damage to a home in Ridgetown.
Crews responded to the blaze at 132 Main Street West just before 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Officials say when firefighters arrived, they found flames showing from an attached garage.
Crews say they were challenged by high winds fueling the fire until it was extinguished at 1:39 a.m.
The homeowner escaped, and there were no injuries.
The cause of the fire is undetermined.
Officials say the home was protected with working smoke alarms.
