Police are encouraging drivers and passengers to take precautions and protect their vehicles and contents from theft, especially during the holiday season.
The annual Lock It or Lose It campaign was launched by the Ontario Chiefs of Police on Wednesday.
The Windsor Police Service is joining police services across Ontario in reminding motorists and passengers to lock it or lose it when it comes to their vehicles and valuables.
Officers will be handing out material at the Canadian Tire on the east end and promoting the campaign on social media.
