Windsor police have cleared the scene after investigating a suspicious package at a gas station in east Windsor.
Officers were called to the gas pumps at the Canadian Tire on Tecumseh Road East near Lauzon around 10 a.m. Wednesday morning.
The Explosive Disposal Unit attended and deployed their robot to investigate the package.
Police determined it was not suspicious. It was a container with foil and a funnel. It appears to have been left behind by a client of the gas bar.
The entrances of the store near the gas pumps were closed earlier, but have since been reopened.
