The Windsor-built Pacifica Hybrid has been named the most fuel-efficient minivan ever.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency found the Pacifica has much better mileage than what the company claimed, with a combined score of 84 miles per gallon using both electric and gasoline.
FCA officials credit the vehicle's E-Flite dual-motor electrically variable transmission.
The Pacifica also scored a 10 under the Green Energy Guide. That's the highest score possible.
Energuide Canada estimates the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid's fuel, gas and electricity cost is a combined $917 a year.
