More damages are being sought against the owners of the Ambassador Bridge Company by west end home owners.
Lawyer Sharon Strosberg says a civil lawsuit her firm is handling includes more than 20 properties. The total amount being sought in damages now stands at $117-million.
Property owners claim the Canadian Transit Company has turned their neighbourhood into a slum. They allege the CTC owns boarded up homes near the bridge, which they say are dilapidated.
The bridge company maintains it can't tear down the homes because of government regulation.
