A Windsor catering business is partially open again, a week after a fire ripped through its Tecumseh Road building.
On one of the busiest night of the year for Koolini’s, co-owner Leo De Luca says people ordering food from the restaurant can once again pick it up at their location at 1521 Tecumseh Rd E.
On Christmas Eve, an accidental fire broke out in the laundry room and spread to surrounding rooms. Officials told the owners it would take four to six months before Koolini's would be back open.
De Luca says catering is still being done out of the kitchen at the Windsor Christian Fellowship. He is optimistic those chefs will be back inside the Koolini's kitchen by mid-January.
