Arrest warrant issued for Windsor, Ont.shooting suspect
Windsor, Ont. police have issued an arrest warrant for a man wanted in connection to a shooting.
The incident took place on Monday in South Windsor. Just before midnight, police said an older model, light coloured minivan drove towards a group of people.
Multiple shots were allegedly fired from the passenger-side window, hitting one person in the lower leg.
The Windsor Police Service has now issued an arrest warrant for 21-year-old Jashanpreet Singh, identifying him as one of the suspects.
He is wanted for attempted murder, discharging a firearm with intent to endanger life, occupying a vehicle with a firearm and uttering death threats.
Singh is described as an East Indian man, believed to live in the Brampton, Ont. area.
