The Windsor man charged in connection to the double fatal Retrofest collision has been convicted on all counts.

Brett Iler has been convicted of two counts of careless driving causing death, three counts of careless driving causing bodily harm and one count of careless driving.

Justice of the Peace Kelly Jackson dismissed Iler's entire defence that a brief yawn caused him to momentarily lose control of his vehicle.

The family members of the victims in the collision showed very little emotion, other than nodding their heads in agreement when Justice Jackson made her final decision.

It's in connection to the May 2022 deaths of two people who were involved in the event’s classic car cruise.

Three others were injured.

More to come.
