Windsor Goodfellows are pleased with another successful fundraising campaign.
The group has surpassed their fundraising goal of $275,000.
Goodfellows vice president Gil Barichello says he’s tickled pink with the donations, especially due to the financial challenges for many residents coming out of the flood in the fall.
The money will support the 6,000 boxes of food and treats that Goodfellows distribute to those that need it during the Christmas season, along with a food bank and school breakfast program at nine area schools.
Last year, a record amount of at least $296,699 was raised.
