Windsor police are investigating an incident at a popular local bakery that sent one employee to hospital with serious injuries.
On Saturday, an employee was discovered unconscious by a family member at Blak's Bakery located at 1022 Langlois Ave. around 7:30 p.m. The employee was working at the time and was sent to hospital with severe injuries.
A search of Blak’s inventory revealed that items were missing from the shop. It’s unclear what exactly was taken. The employee underwent surgery on Sunday and remains in critical condition in hospital.
The Windsor police major crimes unit is now investigating and is asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
