A Chatham man accused of threatening to blow up Parliament has finally been released from custody.
David Osterbrook appeared in court several times this week, but was previously denied bail.
But on Friday, a justice of the peace released Osterbrook to a surety.
The 49-year-old was arrested late Friday after a man allegedly threatened to blow up the Parliament buildings in Ottawa.
Osterbrook has been charged with one count of hoax - terrorist activity and one count of uttering threats.
He is scheduled to appear in court again on May 29th.
