A blockade at construction sites for wind turbines north of Chatham is expected to continue on Friday.
Members of the group Water Wells First prevented work crews operating pile drivers from entering work sites for the North Kent Wind Project on Thursday.
Group spokesperson Kevin Jakubec says at any given time, there were about ten members at each of the three locations.
Jakubec tells CTV Windsor members are growing concerned that the pile driving activity and wind turbines themselves will stir up turbidity in the water, perhaps releasing heavy metals into well water.
His group is calling on the province for immediate action and answers.
Jakubec adds provincial investigators took water samples on Tuesday.
