Fire investigators have determined the cause of an Ouellette Avenue apartment fire to be accidental.
Emergency crews rushed to Ouellette Manor for a fire call on the 20th floor around 6 p.m. Wednesday. Windsor fire says the fire originated from the stove top, causing $50,000 in damages to the unit.
A resident of the apartment was sent to hospital for smoke inhalation. He's listed in stable condition.
Tenants from three other units were displaced due to smoke and water damage.
