Windsor police are investigating after shots were fired at two east end homes.
Officers were called to the 200 block of Belleview Avenue Saturday afternoon after a neighbour discovered a bullet hole while washing their vehicle.
"I was actually sleeping when it happened. It was like a pop, pop, pop, kind of thing," homeowner Scott Gillen says.
It wasn't until the morning when Gillen discovered that his home - more specifically his daughter’s playroom - had been hit by gun fire.
"Little disconcerting you know? People just don't care to shoot off a weapon in a full neighbourhood right?"
Through their investigation police also found bullet holes in a second residence. Officers also discovered several brass casing in driveway in the area.
Neighbours spoke with police about hearing a popping noise between 12:30 a.m. and 1 a.m. Saturday. One neighbour described seeing a dark coloured vehicle leaving the scene, after hearing the noise.
Police say at the same time, roughly 10 people were seen coming from the rear of a residence on Belleview.
"Put them away or do something. Get them off the street."
Anyone with information is asked to call police, or Crime Stoppers.
