Olivia Newton-John

Hopelessly devoted fans will have their chance to see Olivia Newton-John at Caesars Windsor on Thursday night. The four-time Grammy award winner has sold over 100 million albums with 10 #1 hits and 15 top 10 singles including “You’re the One That I Want”, “I Honestly Love You”, and “Hopelessly Devoted to You”. Olivia's successes include numerous Country Music, American Music, Billboard and People's Choice Awards and an Emmy Award. There’s still a few tickets left for the 8 p.m. performance.

Maks & Val Live On Tour: Our Way 

A smash-hit dance tour is coming to Caesars Windsor on Friday. Maksim and Valentin Chmerkovskiy, from ABC’s show Dancing with the Stars, will be heating up The Colosseum stage for an all ages show on Friday at 8 p.m.  The Maks & Val Live On Tour: Our Way show is one of only two Canadian tour stops. Collaborating with the greatest choreographers in the business and supported by a cast of fellow professionals, the show will surprise and delight with timeless elegance and steamy seduction. Tickets start at $25 and there still some available.

Mardi Gras Street Party

The second annual Mardi Gras Street Party is this weekend in the downtown core of Amherstburg. The event features musical entertainment, buskers and food.  Some of the bands include One Man Out, White Noise and Dreamcatcher. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the gate. A weekend pass is $30 at the gate. Tickets are also available online or at various WFCU locations.

Joe Avati

Italian-Australian comedian Joe Avati returns to Canada and The Chrysler Theatre on Friday night. After four years, Avati is back with a show that returns him to his stand-up comedy roots.  Officials say patrons must understand the Italian language to fully enjoy the show. Tickets are at the Chrysler Theatre Box office.

Sunsplash Festival - Belle River on the Lake

This year’s Sunsplash Festival contains four days of action packed activities for all ages. Kids can enjoy themselves at the teen dace, fishing derby, SOLTRA lawn mower races, Carter Shows carnival or by participating in the parade.  Adults are welcomed to visit the Knights of Columbus Refreshment Tent as well as our all new Sunsplash Vine and Dine Wine Tent. Hundreds of classic cars line the main streets.
The Canadian Watercross and Racing Freestyle Tour will also be stopping by the West Beach to showcase some of their top talent.

Walkerville Art Walk & Rock

Kiss Tribute band Destroyer is part of the entertainment for the 2016 Walkerville Art Walk & Rock Fest in Walkerville. The show will begin at 10p.m. on Friday.  Guests are encouraged to take a stroll through the shops, small businesses and restaurants along Wyandotte, Devonshire, Chilver, Windermere, Lincoln, Gladstone and others. Local artists and musicians will be on hand along with a mini food festival. Fri 5 pm – 11 pm, Sat 11 am – 11 pm, Free admission.

 

Windsor Optimist Youth Band

The Windsor Optimist Youth Band is celebrating 50 years of music this Sunday. They’re putting on a free concert at Dieppe Gardens on Riverside Drive at 7 p.m. Organizers say everyone is welcome. Bring a lawn chair. They will accept donations (optional) to support the band's performances.
