A tentative deal has been reached between custodial staff and the Greater Essex County District School Board.
Late Wednesday the board announced an agreement had been reached with CUPE Local 27 which represents 264 employees.
The deal comes after an extended round of negotiations with the support of the Ministry of Education.
The school board says the deal represents the “best possible outcome” for all involved, and will provide stability moving forward.
The deal has not yet been ratified and details of the contract have not been released.
