A 44-year-old tractor trailer driver from LaSalle has been charged with careless driving after a crash on Highway 401 near Tilbury Monday night.
The eastbound Highway 401 on-ramp at Tilbury was closed for five hours while crews cleaned up the trailer’s load. It was reopened Tuesday morning.
Essex County OPP officers say the tractor trailer was carrying a load of auto parts when it overturned, spilling the cargo onto the on-ramp.
No injuries are reported and no other vehicles were involved.
Ali Arnous, of LaSalle, was charged.
