The Windsor Spitfires were in action on the road in London on Friday night in what was a top 5 CHL matchup.

As the fifth ranked Spits took on the top ranked Knights.

The rivalry matchup lived up to its billing in a chippy affair seeing a goalie duel play out at first, with a penalty-filled second period.

It would be the Knights opening the scoring, with the Spits tying things up on the power play through Ilya Protas.

The Knights would take control from there, winning 5-1.

The Spits are back on the road on Saturday night against the Flint Firebirds.
