The jingling bells have been ringing for a few weeks now, but the money isn't pouring into the Salvation Army’s Christmas Kettles.
Spokesperson Perron Goodyear says the goal for the Windsor campaign this season is $260,000.
So far he says the kettle campaign is running about $10,000 behind pace from last year.
But there's still time, the campaign runs until Christmas, which is still 16 days away.
Donations can be made at 18 Kettle locations around Windsor, by visiting www.FilltheKettle.com to make a secure on-line donation. Phone donations can be made by calling 1-800-SAL-ARMY (1-800-725-2769).
