Ricardo Veneza re-joined the CTV Windsor team in 2023.

Born and raised in Leamington, Ont., he started his journalism career in Windsor radio at AM800 CKLW before venturing out west; first to Grande Prairie, Alberta and then to Merritt, BC. He made his way back to southern Ontario where he re-joined the AM800 team before picking up a camera with CTV Windsor, eventually leading to a new challenge with CTV Kitchener.

There, Ricardo co-hosted CTV News at 5pm and anchored Weekend News at 6pm.

Following a successful two-and-a-half-year stint in Waterloo Region, a new opportunity and the pull of home brought him back to CTV Windsor.

Ricardo aims to tell stories sharing social issues, diving into current affairs and sharing human experiences.

When he’s not working, Ricardo enjoys exploring local eateries and attractions, heading out for a motorcycle ride and spending time with his dog, Shep.
