Essex County OPP have released the identity of the man killed in a collision between a train and a tractor on Friday in Lakeshore.

Police say it happened in a rail yard in the 400 block of Elmstead Road around 2 p.m.

Dead is Shane Knapp, 39, of Windsor.

Police say Knapp was pinned between a rail car and a tractor, while trying to move the rail car.

The Ministry of Labour will be continuing the investigation, as it occurred at a business in Lakeshore.
